Refund policy
Our products are made on demand, which means your tee only exists once you order it. We do this to avoid waste and keep things as responsible as possible. Because of that, we can’t accept returns for remorse, wrong size, or change of mind. We hope you understand. We’re a tiny non-profit trying to do this the cleanest way we can.
And honestly, our goal isn’t to make sales.
Our goal is to turn as much money as possible into donations for the communities we love and want to support.
So every time we add extra admin, logistics, or complexity, it’s time and money taken away from the people we’re trying to help. Keeping things simple lets us send more help where it actually matters.
If something arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, that is absolutely on us, and we’ll fix it.
If your item arrives with an issue
Please check your order when it arrives and contact us right away at info@backtoshore.org if:
- the print is wrong
- the item is damaged
- the product is not what you ordered
We’ll sort it out and send you a replacement at no cost.
Since we print everything through Printful, they need photos of the issue, so sending us pictures helps us solve it much faster.
Non-returnable items
Because everything is made on demand, we cannot accept returns for:
- change of mind
- ordering the wrong size
- orders placed with incorrect delivery details
- gift cards
- sale items
Not because we don’t want to help, but because once the item is printed, it exists just for you.
About the EU cooling-off period
Normally, EU customers can return an item within 14 days for any reason.
But goods that are made to order (like ours) are exempt from that rule under EU law.
If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, we’ll always take care of you anyway.
Refunds
If the issue is approved (for example a defect or production error), we’ll either replace the item or refund you on your original payment method. Refunds can take up to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.

We’re a non-profit and we’re not making any money from this. The more we keep things simple, the more support goes directly to the locals and communities we’re working with.
